A missing 17-year-old was located after he randomly popped up on Burley Garciaa Twitch livestream in Miami months after his disappearance in Michigan.

On May 21, the Flint Township Police Department asked the public for assistance to track down the Flint, Michigan, teenager who was last spotted leaving his home and believed to have got on an MTA bus.

A family member contacted the Twitch creator after the teen was seen on live stream

Last Wednesday, streamer FaZe Lacy revealed that the teen's brother contacted him and said the teen was struggling with a mental health disorder. It also confirmed for the family that the teen was still alive, the Lacy added.

"My missing little brother from Michigan was on Clix and Lacy's stream in Miami. He was wearing green shorts, and they were making fun of him. He is not on drugs; he is schizophrenic," the email shared by the streamer said.

A clip from the viral video shows the streamers eating at a restaurant when the teen, who has no shirt on, approaches them.

Police said missing teen was found 'safe'

On the Fourth of July, police confirmed that the teen was found.

"The Flint Township Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everybody who shared the missing person information," police said. "He has been found safe in Miami, Florida and we are working with local authorities to arrange his safe return to Michigan to be with his family."
